A film exploring collisions between the Old World and the New, author and inspirations, fact and fiction. Antonio, an Argentine author and Nobel Laureate now based in Barcelona, returns after four decades to Salas, his small hometown, and the setting for all his global work. What will the author say to these townspeople whom he put on the map, and what, in turn, will they teach him about his art and his life?
